An inventive product, which offers a low cost of extracted thermal energy, a long duration of burning with one charge and work with different types of wood.
The inventor of Chimneything: evertything is possible!
In 2017 the author of this site was wondering if he could economically heat his country house with wood without making large investments in a water heating installation. His experience in previous years was quite discouraging as the purchased stove costing him just over 2 min monthly salaries (as of 2012) required recharging approximately every hour.

In the process of using the otherwise decent product, I had to refuel the stove, to close or open the air valve to address burning issues. At night, it just stopped after two or three hours. If the stacked logs were thinner they would always burn out in about an hour or so, and when a large log was fed the fire often went out after a while. On top of everything, the amount of wood needed to maintain a normal temperature even in just one room of about 30 sq.m. required a constant supply of fuel. Apparently the choice of heater was not so good. The search continued and one day I found information about rocket stoves and their efficiency. Some guys in Hisarya town had set about producing a portable version of the so-called „rocket mass heaters“ and had achieved remarkable results. Their customers gave good reviews, but there were also a few setbacks that stopped me from purchasing their product. First of all, the price was comparable to that of a pellet boiler with a burner and a hopper, but most of all users confirmed the information from the manufacturer that the device can work with logs up to 6-7 cm in diameter. Over the course of several months, I became so passionate that I decided to work until I found a solution to the two main obstacles I saw. So, after almost six years of work, I can offer everyone who is in my position then, a wood stove that can work for 5-6 hours on a single charge, burn normal logs up to 18 cm in diameter, heat powerfully around 55 sq.m. and one that used modest 5 cubic meters of wood throughout the whole heating season (in Svoge it lasted 6 months in 2022-23) And not to forget the main thing – the price should be similar to a regular stove – about two minimum wages.
Update: gradually it became clear that Chimneything is capable of working on a single charge up to 14 hours with variable intensity. See videos embedded in this page.
